I am using the Xbox Music App on a laptop on Windows 8. 80% of my music collection will not be found in the cloud. I have 700 cds I need to rip and I'm using iTunes as my pc library,
because most of the music I'm interested in will be found there.
All of my PC music can be seen and played in Xbox. The album art (in cloud or not) appears beside the albums and songs in the lists. But when I play a song not in the cloud, the album art is not
incoporporated into the visualisation. I just see colors and shapes (and the track info).
Are Xbox Music's visualisations supposed to incorporate the album art for all songs (in cloud or not) or I'm I missing something in my tagging? Is there a special way of tagging that Xbox needs?
Thanks for any help.

Hi,
As I understanding, you issue is that the Album art didnt appear when you play some non-cloud music.
Based on my test, the XBOX wont load the album art for local music. Regarding current situation, I highly recommend you submit a new case for you issue on XBOX support as they are more professional on this product and will help you better:

thanks for your understanding.
