Multiple rdp logins to windows 8 enterprise

Hi,

I am currently trying to do multiple RDP sessions (to different users) to a virtual machine running windows 8 enterprise. The host machine where the VM is running is windows 2012.

The problem is: whenever the second person tries a RDP to the VM with a person already connected to it, the session of the person already connected ends. I want multiple users to simultaneously connect to their respective accounts on this VM. Do I need some sort of licensing to enable this feature? if yes, shouldn't it come with a trial version for testing so that the user does not end up buying the wrong license.

You cannot have multiple accounts RDP into a standard version of Windows. You'll need to get a terminal server to do that.

So, where do I get/install a terminal server. (I am a noob so please excuse my trivial questions)

This vm also has a remoteFx gpu added to it (for vGPU) so, I also want to confirm whether remoteFx will still work properly even after I configure a terminal server.

You can read all about terminal servers here.

As far as remoteFx gpu, I wouldn't have the faintest idea. I would suggest you contact them to see if they are compatible.
