Multiple IPs on Windows 7
Please help me on how to add new IPs for one computer (windows 7). Step by step please, not a tech person :(

For IP ver4, you need a different network adapter for each address. For IP ver6, you can have multiple IP addresses bound to one adapter. What type of IP addresses are you trying to add, and why?

No, you don't. You can easily add multiple IPs to one physical NIC, but you can't set default gateways or DNS servers or anything else on a per-IP basis unless you have multiple NICs. Whether this is useful or not depends on what the original poster is trying to accomplish. What type of IP addresses are you trying to add, and why? This is really the pertinent question.

Hi Dave, thanks for putting me right there. I see one can add multiple IP addresses, just have never had the need.
