Mouseware with Orientation tab compliant Windows 7100 needed
Like Windows 7 but I need Orientation for my mouse (vertical motion reversed option). Mouseware used for XP is refused by Windows 7. Can anyone direct me to Mouseware with Orientaion or please could Microsoft include it in their build? It is tedious using the mouse upside down with two hands!

Not sure if this will help but I'm assuming you have a Logitech product; they stopped updating Mouseware (I'm disappointed because it gave me some extra button functions that the newer product doesn't have) and now use Setpoint for both their Keyboards and Mouse/Trackball products. Just go to www.logitech.com and download the latest software for your model and it should install just fine, then you can go change the Orientation settings. Hope this helps! (I still wish Mouseware worked though, it had a "Fifth" button on my four button trackball by clicking the right and left buttons simultaneously.)

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately all existing software drivers for mouse I have are rejected by Windows 7. I have contacted Logitech and they inform me they will not have Windows 7 compliant mouseware until it is officially released. I was hoping someone might have software that happened to load. By the way you asked of security for Windows 7. I use Kaspersky satisfactorily but for some reason it doesn't communicate effectively with Win 7 firewall. This doesn't matter though as it is still effective.

Have you tried installing the software drivers in Windows Vista or Windows XP compatibility mode? And you're right, as long as your security software runs fine it doesn't matter than it doesn't communicate perfectly with Windows 7 RC. -Nick

Thank you for your reply. Yes I have installed it in compatability mode and yes it works!! It gives a list of unsolved issues on the task bar including when some newupdates are loaded, but that is no matter since the incompatability is stated as known to Microsoft when I try to load it without compatability.Hopefully Microsoft can include 'orientation' on the final Windows 7. It is a struggle for me to find suitable software.
