Mouse stuttering on Windows 8.1
I have tried everything and my issue doesn't seem to get fixed. The mouse stutterers when I'm using Windows, but the "lag" (I call it lag since it feels like lag) is incredibly high when I'm playing online games. Sometimes the mouse won't even respond (while gaming) I've been wondering if when I update to Windows 10 will this problem get fixed? The game I'm having problems with is "Tribes Ascend" an old game, and that is probably the reason why the mouse isn't working properly.. ITS OLLDDD. Well what I've tried is going to the game's executable file and disabled the "display scaling on high DPI settings" and i clicked too "Run as administrator. I downloaded the program that supposedly is supposed to fix or help this problem. (the one provided by Microsoft, the "Microsoft fix it tool" ) and didn't help. What did seem to help was when I went to "PC and Devices" and went to the touch-pad options and set it to "No delay(always on)" but that didn't completely solved my issue. I still get mouse lag. Sometimes the lag seems to have disappeared but if I play for a long time (like 2 hours) without stopping the mouse becomes unresponsive. Only on the game though, when I exit the  game the mouse starts to work better but I still get lag, even on Windows. I tried to download the latest drivers for the computer but don't know how. I uninstalled the mouse drivers because supposedly when you do that and  restart the computer Ill get the latest ones, but that didn't help either. The problem is  not the mouse or the surface Im using it on since the mouse works perfectly fine with my other computer.  IF someone could give me a hand here I would be infinitely thankful. T
