Mouse failure on laptop
Mouse and the laptop mouse pad is failing, refusing to work, but mouse works in safe mode boot up. There doesn't appear to be a mechanical failure am thinking software.Mr R8td1 person needs an answerI do too

Both are failing because you have both connected, that's the reason.A 'conflict issue'.Disable one of them, via the 'properties' of which-ever one you will disable.In Start/Control Panel/Device manager/Mouse and other pointer Devices. (Each Title is a step...to get you there.)When used in a 'mobile situation' where you can not use the Mouse, Enable the Pad again.Disable it, when you're presumably at home.Actually, this will make your mind up as to which one to disable, according to the circumstances of where you are, doesn't?Learn it, make a habit of it.Easy.
