Mouse Settings Reset upon reboot
Upon each Reboot of Windows7 all Mouse Settings are reset for me. This means that Cursor Speed is reduced to minimum which forces me to move the mouse like 50cm to move the Cursor 10cm on the Screen. The Mouse Buttons are swapped aswell. First thing I have to do after Reboot is I have to untick the Swap Buttons Checkbox and increase the Cursor Speed to at least 50% to get a decent mouse speed. This is highly uncomfortable and annoying aswell. Im using a Roccat Kone Mouse with latest Firmware & Drivers. Does anyone else have the same Problems and maybe even know how to fix this so that the Settings doesnt get reset on each reboot? Any Help is appreciated.

Hi SilentStormThe best advice I can give you, at this point, is to check with the manufacturer of that device for compatibility with Windows 7 or any know issues.Hope this helps.Thank You for testing Windows 7 Beta Ronnie Vernon MVP

Hi SilentStormIf you have installed your mouse software propebly. right side in the taskbar, rightclick on the Roccat Kone icon and start the mouse configration. from there you can set the proper settings for your mouse. Windows has nothing to do with these setting, its a manufacture setting since this mouse is a gaming mouse and has a lot of abilities as well.If the mouse icon is not shown in the taskbar that means you need to install the software from within administration account. Refer to your mouse manual for more details..Hope this will help youRegards

Yeah I do have installed the Kone Software. I will try to set up Cursor Speed and stuff there and hope it will survive the Reboot. Thanks so far.
