I have an Ultrabook with touch enabled screen - Lenovo X1 Carbon.  I have this setup with auth/login options of corporate password, corporate smartcard pin and Picture Password.

When logging on to my laptop using picture password - typically after a lockscreen timeout - my mouse cursor icon disappears.  I can still gain focus on things as I move my mouse or use trackpad but I do not have visual of the mouse cursor on screen for both desktop and the windows 8 start screen.

Not sure if specific to Lenovo X1 or a Windows 8 issue.

Anyone seen this one before?

I tested on my Dell touch screen and picture password works without any issue.

I suspect the issue may related with incompatible driver. You can try to update drivers to the latest version, also update BIOS and Chipset for your machine.
