Mouse Complications

I've had my Dell Inspiron 3520 for almost a year now and recently the mouse had stopped working. It only seems to work on the screensaver when i sign out of my account. When i sign into my account it works for the first few seconds then suddenly freezes in the spot it's in and doesn't move at all. I've restored my laptop and it still seems not to work.

Please tell me how to fix this problem thank you.

Hi

Is there any changes before this issue happen? (update, install or uninstall)

try to check with other PC to proof your mouse working fine

this mouse work before?

What do you mean by "restore", you reinstall your OS?

Hi,

I would like to know your interface of mouse.USB or PS/2?

If you use USB mouse, this issue may be related to drivers.

We need to clear or uninstall all drivers under USB controller in device manager and restart your computer.

During the restarting, such drivers will be reinstalled from local catalog.

If the issue persists, let us try to change a mouse to check the result.

Regards,

Hi Kelvin

There is no PS2 connector in Dell Inspiron 3520. Or maybe you have another research based on this product specification?
