Hello On a Windows 7 64, brand new system (Lenovo T410), I cannot complete a backup or create a system image. Backup fails with messages Windows Backup failed to write the file: '<backup location>\WindowsImageBackup\<Computer Name>\MediaId'. (0x80780122) or simply (0x80070002) I am using an external USB drive and an Intel 5/3400 controller I have read various threads relating this problem to Synology. I believe this does not apply to me. Thanks for help.

Helo sir, the error thats appearing, is at the same instance everytime... or it varies try performing the backup after uninstalling any rd party security apps.. Also, check the status of VSS Volume Shadow Copy service. The startup should be Automatic.. VvthW7
