More boxes & checked
This is very cool but, some may already be aware of it & (please excuse) I may have, already, put this in this forum somewhere, some time ago... Disc Clean-up: Familiar is > C:\ > Properties > General tab, there's a Disc Clean-up button OR drill down to System Tools & it's there, too. However, then select drive(s)* one wants done, hit OKs, wait for 2 windows, go thru list putting in checkmarks, etc, etc. Some may know > cmd, Run as Admin & type cleanmgr tuneup:n to do Disc Clean-up. This, I suggest, is much better... more items listed, after 1st time no need to recheck boxes and *does ALL drives... > cmd, Run as Admin type cleanmgr sageset:1, hit Enter Hit OK on the window that appears type cleanmgr sagerun:1, hit Enter Drew - MS Partner / MS Beta Tester / Pres. Hi, Thanks for your great sharing. I believe it can benefit a couple of community users in forums to run disk cleanup easily. Disc Clean-up & other items* that 'clean' are good habits. Underrated & missed, too, possibly. (*Only talking Internet Options & CCleaner, btw) Also, when things are suspect, a good initial step is do/run Check Disc. Doesn't get done, often; rarely on any kind of regular basis. Oft, good to be the 1st thing tried. Oft, not the knee-jerk move it maybe should be. And, you're welcome... very cool, if items are appreciated & used w/ some value. Thanks, DaleDrew - MS Partner / MS Beta Tester / Pres. Computer Issues

I just BUMP this occasionally... it's a good, very cool tid-bit & not, I don't think, all that well known. Having more items on the list & not having to 'recheck' @ each use are terrific things. Ergo, please go to top of thread. Thanks.Drew MS Partner / MS Beta Tester / Pres. Computer Issues Pres. Computer Issues www.drewsci.com

The really nice thing about this, besides not having to recheck all the 'boxes' each time & having more items on the list than w/ the usual Disc Clean-up... Is that when one has multiple drives, partitions or actual separate HDDs, it/this will do ALL of them, @ once; no more need to select each one & do them individualy.Drew MS Partner / MS Beta Tester / Pres. I think so highly of this & it is not all that well known, as opposed to the usual, standard, normal default Disc Clean-up native to the Operating System that I reckon it is about time to BUMP it, again. This 'thread' tells all the great reasons for using this method. Regards, DrewDrew MS Partner / MS Beta Tester / Pres. Computer Issues Pres. Computer Issues www.drewsci.com
