Months of BSOD Since Upgrading to 8.1

For months now (I believe since February), I've been getting Random and inconsistent BSOD's since upgrading to WIn8.1. According to WhoCrashed here are some of the reasons:

This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x153FA0) - Error: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
This was probably caused by the following module: ntkrnlmp.exe (nt!KeBugCheckEx+0x0) - Error: CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION
This was probably caused by the following module: ntkrnlmp.exe (nt!KeBugCheckEx+0x0) - Error: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
This was probably caused by the following module: atikmdag.sys (atikmdag+0xC7DBB) - Error: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x153FA0) - Error: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

And more recent ones:

This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x153FA0) - Error: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x153CA0) - Error: DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION

I have ran MemTest86 and Windows Memory Diagnostic with no errors in either.

Tonight I have ran the `SFC /scannow` which gave some errors,  and the `Verifier` here is all the data I have at the moment. I would appreciate some feedback if possible. This is driving me crazy:

All hardware is new as of October of Last year from the power supply up. Have not made any changes to the configuration. I've even gone back and re-installed Windows and software from nothing. TIA!

Hi

Can you also download all the latest drivers for your machine and update them. Generally bluescreens are as a result of outdated drivers or malware/spyware.

Finally got around to updating drivers.

Went through the device manager and manually checked each device for driver updates; Video card driver and one or two USB drivers updated.

Also, ran the MSI live update, which updated to a new version, and then updated the Realtek PCIE Network Driver and a couple of utilities.

The last WhoCrashed analysis gave the following response:

A full uninstall of the Avast! antivirus package, facilitated by Avast's own cleaner tool, and reinstall of the latest version has been seen by many folks to clear up problems similar to what you've reported.
