Whenever I open a file, for example a Bentley Microstation drawing file (.dgn), the "date modified" in Microsoft Windows Explorer changes to the current date and time, even though I have not modified anything in the file. How do I stop this from happening?1 person needs an answerI do too

Perhaps the app used to open the file is changing the file, even though you're not explicitly modifying anything? Use Process Monitor from Sysinternals to find out.
