I am having a similar issue that was documented on the beta. When I go to install Mobile device center I get an error that a component windows is missing. I followed the work around given without success. I am running Windows 7 Enterprise N.

Hi,I Am installing 6.1 . I tried 32 and 64. The error message is close to the following. A windows component is missingThere is no error number nor any indication of what is missing.The work around had me uninstall a mobile network device driver (when you USB the phone this device driver appears), then try to install the software. 6.1 I tried several different variants, including rebooting the machine all with the same result.I will try turning off the firewalls, I am using only MS stuff.Thanks for your help
