I have found another problem in my gmail account, when I am typing a new mail in IE 10 some of the letters just disappears and I have to rewrite them, my first gest was a failure in my keyboard but in other pages or in word works perfectly, the only information
that I have found is from this link

Hi,
Are you using Gmail in Windows 8 Style IE APP or Desktop IE? Also, you need to check whether you have Insert disabled instead of Replace.
I'm also having this same problem. I've noticed other have mentioned this too in Twitter and other forums. I'm using IE10 in both Windows 8 Style IE AND in Desktop IE and they both have the same problem. This is only happening with Gmail. Whether I'm typing in the Subject line or the body of the e-mail, nearly every third or forth character does not type. Even if I slow down my typing to 1 character every 2 seconds, it still does NOT work. All other websites work fine. If I use my gMail account in the Windows 8 Style Mail program, it works fine. Whether I'm using the on-screen keyboard, the dock, or the USB-attached external keyboard, it still fails. Whether I'm using just the tablet or the dock, it still fails.
What I'm using:
Windows 8 Pro 64bit RTM - fully patched
Acer IconiaTab W500, 2GB Ram, all drivers installed and working
Dual Screens using HDMI port on Computer to HDMI port on monitor
2Gb Ram
2nd Monitor - Samsung SyncMaster CA750
Looking forward to your reply on this subject.
Ron
I have had similar issues with IE / Gmail, wound up switching to Firefox due to other (possibly related, possibly not) stability issues when running a Modern app on one screen and IE10 on the other.
I just checked the specs of the Iconia Tab W500, noticed it had ATI graphics. Have you tried middle mouse button click-scrolling in IE10? I'm curious to know if you get the same crashing issues as I have with a Modern app (Mail, as an example) and IE10 on the other, and you try to click-scroll. It kept killing Explorer.exe on my machine every time I would do it.
I'm starting to wonder if both issues might be some issue between the ATI drivers and IE10 - Again, Firefox has had no issue with either Gmail or the crashing issue from click-scrolling. If anyone has the same issue with a non-ATI graphics card, then maybe not.
Yup, I just tested the click-scroll in IE10 on the Windows 8 Desktop on my Second Monitor, and it did cause a crash. I could not reproduce the crash, however, on the Windows 8 Modern apps. I'm going to try a few more times to see if I can reproduce your issue in Modern App and get back to you if I figured out the steps.
I'm having the same issue(s). Metro IE10 and desktop IE10 exhibit the same behavior, as well as using IE10 in compatibility mode (IE9, IE8, etc.). No luck. I have not been experiencing any crashes (Lenovo X220).
Anyone got a handle on this?

Same issue for me... In GMAIL while I am typing it misses keystrokes... very weird !!! Any solutions ??
(IE 10 Desktop + Win8 RTM)
I'm having the same issue when writing e-mails via www.gmail.com in the Internet Explorer 10 version 10.0.9200.16384 browser in desktop modus on Windows 8 RTM En-us with Dutch language Pack on a Lenovo Thinkpad W500
I'm having the same issue, whether it's the Modern or desktop style browser. I'm using Windows 8 RTM on an Acer Iconia Tab w500 tablet.
Ohh wow! I've been searching for a blog/thread on this issue for ages - yep, I have the same problem here. GMAIL & GCHAT are very VERY laggy in IE10. It's almost as though you have to press + hold, each key for the letters to come up. In other websites (or even this forum as I type this), I can type full speed. But in Gmail - the keyboard response has a very high latency - and it drops letters and spaces. Google search works just fine.
And yep - it's the same issue with "Modern UI" IE10, and desktop IE10.&
Ok I think I've fixed it.
In Gmail, go into Settings -> General.
Change "Outgoing Message Encoding" to <label for=":166">Use Unicode (UTF-8) encoding for outgoing messages.</label>
Seems to have improved response for me.
Some are saying this is related to hardware rendering using GPU rather then using software rendering in IE10? I am not using Windows 8 but am experiencing similar missing key strokes using IE 10. I think I will try disabling hardware rendering to see if their is a difference.
