In Window XP I am missing the add/remove programs icon in control panel (all views). Help!!What happen to cause the lose of Add?Remove Icon? Is it a program been installed or an infection? Please run a thorough scan for both malware and virus with an up2date security software, you may have or download from a reputable vendor(s)! Open a Run command and locate these Keys:Open Run >> Type in regedit.exe click [OK ] and locate these Keys:[-]HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer = Delete "NoControlPanel " Value if it does exist.[-]HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer = Delete "NoControlPanel " Value if it does exist. Close Regedit.exe Or another solution try to add/reinstall the Applet to the Control panel by opening the Run command and type in:%SystemFolder%\inf\sysoc.inf right click the Inf and select Install.Let us know your progress. nass -- http://www.nasstec.co.uk
