Hello to everyone i am using Win 7 Ultimate SP 1 and when i go to system properties -> remote settings all i get is the remote assistance dialog box and i can't find the remote desktop dialog box. I can see the remote assistance dialog box but i can't see at all my remote desktop dialog box. Does anyone has any idea??????? i have tried almost anything. I have opened exceptions in windows firewall for remote desktop. I started the remote desktop services manually but nothing happend, i still can't see the remote desktop dialog box and that's odd because i can see my remote assistance dialog box in system properties-> under the remote tab but as i said i can not see my remote desktop settings. I have the same issue, also Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 - there's no Remote Desktop pane on the Remote tab of System Properties. Additionally, the Remote Desktop Services service is running, but there's nobody listening on 3389/tcp. I've tried running SFC /scannow, but there was no change. I've disabled System Restore, so that's not an option. This seems to be a relatively new issue, as I seen plenty of posts, but no answers. For me, RDP worked fine until a week or 2 ago. Not sure if updates were installed in the meantime, but I suspect so. Thanks for your help.
