Beating back a infestation of 'system tool'. Now working on getting Mircosoft updater working again, when accessing updater via 'all programs off the 'start' tab, ie8 tell me the site is unable to load. I also do not see the auto scheduler running in the quick luanch menu (lower right).

Open internet options,settings,view objects,R.click on all the microsoft items listed (one at a time),select: "update" Close when thru,then click on view files,in new window,go to edit,select all,delete all,close out internet options, run disk cleanup.
