Hey guys, so i am trying to get screen mirroring working or miracast.

I have a HP Pavilion and a Samsung UHD smart tv UE55HU6905U

I am trying to connect through device and then choose the wireless thingy, and there my tv comes up, but when i choose it and it starts connecting, the screen mirror things comes up on the tv and it says on the computer to follow the instructions on the tv, but then suddenly it goes black on both screens and then it says "Screen mirror ended" on the tv and the computer goes back to the normal screen. Any suggestions?

may I know your PC model?

this worked before?

any changes before this issue happen?

did you connect to office environment?

have VPN installed(uninstalled to test)?

any Virtualization software(uninstalled to test)?

if you already check both PC and TV support Miracast, try to update your graphic card and wireless display driver, please also follow up with HP regarding this issue

if your PC originally windows 8 and you update to Windows 8.1, for certain case Miracast wont work (please also check this with your PC manufactured)
