I installed Windows 7 today and everything worked smoothly I even had my gadgets. However after setting the screen up & rebooting the computer I no longer have mt gadgets and when I click on any of the links to open or show the gadgets, nothing happens. Is there something I did or can do to bring them back. The process is not running (sidebar.exe)Thanks

Hithis sounds like the same prob I had. But couriously, the next day everything works fine.Gerhard

hi i got the same problem. I found something seems to works here.Sidebar.exe don't want to start if the UAC is off So i put UAC on to the low level , turn off the feature windowsgadget platform in the control panel then restart after restart i turn on the feature , go to the desktop gadget gallery , and it works for me ...
