Migration to Lync 2013 - Unable to remove 2010 Edge Server

Hi

We did a migration from Lync 2010 to Lync 2013. Everything worked without any problems. But now we are unable to remove the Lync 2010 Edge Pool. Everything has been done according to https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj205369.aspx Migration from Lync Server 2010 to Lync Server 2013.

I am able to remove the 2010 Edge pool, but by trying to publish the topology, I receive the following error: Error: An error occurred: "System.InvalidOperationException" "Cannot publish topology changes. Call orbit still exists on one or more deleted application servers."

How can I resolve this error?

Peter

It's complaining about a parking orbit. Try running Get-CsCallParkOrbit and see any stale orbit still remains. If so try removing it by running Remove-CsCallParkOrbit and remove it. Then try publishing the topology.

Hi Peter,

You have to change the Call Park Destination FQDN to the Lync 2013 Pool.

Please check out the following article.

Migrate Call Park application settings

Indeed there was an entry. I removed it and I was able to publish my topology.

Thanks a lot.
