Microsoft programs using internet won't connect
Internet Explorer, Windows Live Messenger, Windows Media Player and Windows Update will not connect to the internet. Non-Microsoft programs like Mozilla Firefox work just fine. I've run the Microsoft malware program, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware program, AVG, Windows Defender, Ad-Aware, Advanced System Care and Spybot SD, all of which say that my system is clean and has no viruses or malware. I've tried to run http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm but first in wouldn't run because I'm using Firefox. Then, when I installed the IE Tab like was suggested it won't connect. I'm running XP version 2002 Service pack 31 person needs an answerI do too

Boot your PC into safe mode with networking and retest. And as for Advanced System Care, dump that piece of c*** it does more damage than its worthRegistry cleaners are unneccesary and can cause more problems than they cure, eg rendering your pc unuseable
