hi, my system runs on windows 7 and the other systems in the network are running xp . When i try to open files directly from the explorer or from KDOC (application). I get an error message stating the Microsoft Office 2007 (word/excel...) has stopped responding or working. But if i copy the file to my system, then it opens just fine. pl provide a solution to this issue.

You have landed in wrong forum. Microsoft Office in more appropriate. Office programs are creating temporary file.
