Microsoft Word icon not showing
Word documents do not have the word icon as their shotcut, it's just the default one for an unknown file.
All the file assosciations for documents are set correctly.
The document opens in word fine, the icon is just wrong.
I've tried rebuilding the icon cache it didn't work
Office 2010 by the way.

Hi JagJag363,
See if repairing Word helps.
Click Start, then click Control Panel. Click Programs and Features. Click the Office 2010 program that you want to repair, then click Change.
Click Repair, then click Continue. You might need to restart your computer after the repair is complete.
