Microsoft Word Woe's
Hi
Not sure of the best place to ask this as i couldn't find a word or office specific forum on here. My client is having some problems with a word document.
2 separate computers on the same network with the same printer installed as the default printer (and the same up to date driver.)
When one computer opens it the page breaks are in a different location to where they are on the other computer. This is causing me all sorts of hassles and of course whilst i can manually fix it each time, i really need to make sure the document looks/feels
the same on both computers?
Both users are using Windows XP and Office 2007 SP3.
Any help on this issue would be appreciated!
ThanksBen Weinberg

You're saying the driver date is the same, but are they both using the same type of driver (PCL5, PCL6, PS, etc)?
Also, just a tip in case you were not aware of it - you can manually create a page break with CTRL + ENTER.

Find normal.dot and delete it. This is the file that controls most of the Microsoft Word templates

Morning Ole.
They are both using the same driver (not sure from the top of my head if PCL5 or PCL6).
If we create a manual page break the whole document layout is moved further down the page.Ben Weinberg

I had thought of this and can give it a go, but the problem isnt actually on 2 computers. It displays the same on 3 or 4 computers and then it displays with the incorrect page break on another 2 computers. Ben Weinberg
