Microsoft Windows 7 security recommandations
I am not an IT expert and I've got a computer running the Microsoft Windows 7 as an operating system. What do you recommand to secure it?

This is what I suggest to you: -Use a good antivirus and antispyware (If you want a free one you can test Microsoft Security Essentials. Else, you can use Symantec Endpoint which is efficient with Microsoft Windows environments) -Keep your internal firewall always functional -Create a user with the minimum of administrative permissions and use it for normal use. If you need administrative privileges then use the secondary logon. -Use recommanded Microsoft Windows 7 templates. When your account require more administrative privileges, you can use the secondary logon. This means that you will use and administrative account to launch something. To use secondary logon, right click on the program to execute then click on run as and specify the login and the password of the account you are going to use to acquire his privilege during the program execution. Don't forget also to install the security updates for your operating system and your antivirus. You can download MBSA to check security problems in your computer.
