Microsoft Updates forWindows7 - Blue Screen
I have installed the newest Microsoft updates for Windows7 64bit and it keeps blue screening my PC. The dump file or blue screen indicates that it is failing on the ks.sys file. I have repeatedly restored, repaired, and finally had to recover my PC from the System Recovery Disk. Then the updates came back and installed within the next 2-3 days and it did the same thing, blue screened. What is up with the new Microsoft updates for Windows7 64bit? I have now recovered my PC and have set the auto updates to notify me before installing so I can deny this install. Does anyone know why this is occurring?

Hello, please use Microsoft Skydrive to upload dump files (c:\windows\minidumps). Once done, post a link here. You can also contact Microsoft CSS. Thanks for your reply. It seems that the .dmp files have been deleted from my hard drive. If it occurs again I will follow your advise. Thanks again.

Hi, It is suggested to go to the computer manufacture's website and check if there is any hardware update before installing Windows Update. Please pay attention to the BIOS, chipset driver, display card driver and so on.
