My microsoft security essentials is missing the Microsoft Antimalware Service. How do I download it. When I try to download security essentials it says its already on my computer. And when I try to uninstall it, it says it don't have all the files needed. What do I do?

If you install MSE, Microsoft Antimalware Service should be in services.msc. You might need to enable it. Try the following by going to start>run and type services and hit enter, next look for Microsoft Antimalware Service under the list, once found, right click it and choose start

Are you able to locate MSE under ctrl panel>program>program & features? If it can't be found, i suggest you to down MSE again Are you able to locate under system configuration? Go to start>run and type msconfig and hit enter, under services tab, look for Microsoft Antimalware Service and ensure is chcked
