I like that Microsoft finally decided to provide the Security Essentials scanning. I have some concerns and update suggestions to make the product more secure and user friendly.My concern is the fact that it shuts itself down (or other programs shuts it down). I also agree with Mooly's thread. Diagnostic Points - XP SP3, all other updates work find - sometimes have to manually update MSE.Times it shuts off - when microsoft or other vendors either shut it off or something causes it to happen, when I purposely shut it down, when I "Clear All" in msconfig Startup, etc. The biggest issue is unless I manually turn it back on - it does not automatically turn itself back on or load itself back into Startup like other Virus protection programs. There are no preferences to set - to have it come back on at reboot.Besides the Preferences for setting (ON at bootup, in the task bar, other standard choices), the Right-Click should have other choices other than "Open" - ways to temporary turn off and turn back on.I like this program because it found a "Download Trojen" the first time I used it.Thanks Allan1 person needs an answerI do too
