Microsoft Products Can't Connect to the Internet
I've had this problem for a while now, but I've been using Mozilla Firefox so it hasn't been an issue.Unfortunately, I need to test out a website in IE7 but it can't connect to the internet. The internet first comes from a Quest DSL modem, then runs through a Linksys wireless router which then connects to my PC through an ethernet cable. The machines that use wireless (eg. the laptop running Vista, PS3, etc.) all run the internet fine. Also, all non-Microsoft programs (such as Mozilla, AVG, etc.) can connect perfectly fine.A list of some of the products that can't connect are:Internet Explorer 7Visual Studio 2008Microsoft Office Word 20031 person needs an answerI do too

If you open IE7, go to Tools | Internet Options | Connection. Does it look correct or have you set it to dial a modem you don't have, perhaps? Do you have IE set to work offline by any chance? How about going to IE7, Tools| Internet Options | Advanced and clicking the RESET button.-B- http://www.officeforlawyers.com Author: The Lawyer's Guide to Microsoft Outlook
