Microsoft Outlook vs OTHERS
I work for an international trading company who are currently in the process of upgrading their e-mail messaging system. The system they have been using for a number of years has some 'pluses' and lots of 'minuses' ...Due to the vast number of e-mails which are sent and received each day, the company are looking for a product whereby;- there are a large number of group and personal e-mail addresses- each and every member of staff can be added or removed from each group simply (ideally this would be from a drop-down list which can be amended by specific administrators)- each member of staff can send an e-mail on behalf of the 'group' or from their own private e-mail address- each member of staff can file the messages in their own respective folders- due to the large number of e-mails, each time an e-mail is received by a group it is given an individual reference number (ie 001234567) - and if required, someone belonging to that group (or who was copied on that e-mail) could simply type in the reference number and get the e-mail immediately (rather than going through a search with specific criteria)I (along with a large number of staff) have recommended Outlook, however, certain members of management are reluctant to this, saying that Outlook has not really been enhanced over the years and does not meet their requirements.Would there be someone who I could contact on this (as I believe this would be of interest to many other companies - not only in the international trading business, but maybe financial markets also) and if there is, how do I contact them?1 person needs an answerI do too
