Microsoft Outlook 2003 problem sending and receiving mail and having mail "stuck" in my Outbox
HiMy Outlook is driving me mad!Two days ago when I tried to send an email it didn't go. Another one I sent did go - well it appeared in my sent box, but the recipient dd not receive it. I have an email stuck in my outbox that will not go and will not delete either. It seems like it is blocking anything else I try to send but that could just be me imagining it!I have been into my email settings and sent a test email which did arrive the other day but not today. When I click send and receive the progree shows that both tasks have completed successfully but the email in my outbox is still there.Down in the bottom right corner of my sreen the two envelopes come up and it says it is synchronising but then they stay there and never go unless I shut Outlook down. When I try to compose a new email the typing is seconds behing ie: I type and the words come up about 10 seconds later on the screen. What's going on?Can anyone kindly help me?Thank you in anticipation1 person needs an answerI do too

Stuck Mail: http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/messagestuckinoutbox.htmGeneral probs: Run Office DiagnosticsFinally if you have integrated Anti Virus with outlook, uninstall that AV, reboot the PC, if neccessary use if available the utility on that AV makers site to completely remove their AV.Reboot the PC, retest Outlook, then reinistall your AV *without* the outlook integration
