Netbanner is a USAF program being run on Windows 7 and I'm attempting to configure the banner. I see there's an ADMX file but I was wanting to test the program on a local machine. Can I add the ADMX file or is there an easier way to edit the registry and what would the settings be? And where are they located? I've looked in HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\ but there's no NetBanner Key. I find a few places where there's a key **del.Classification but nothing that looks like a way to configure the classifications. Thank youDennis C. Varen Technologies

Maqon, I'm not sure where you are going with the referenced link/fourm post since first this isn't the beta Win7 that they are talking about. I'm using the released version, Pro and I'm wanting to load the ADMX locally not in the ADMX Store on the server. The links in the other forum are broken and remote server admin. My machine is not connected to any network it's a stand-alone. Thank you for trying... but I'm still searching for a different answer.Dennis C. Varen Technologies

This was a program written by Microsoft to use for a classification banner for the Air Force. I finally figured out what to do. I had forgotten where the tools were for looking at Group Policy on the local machine in Win7 (Actually first time needing the tool on Win7). Thank you for your time...Dennis C. Varen Technologies

Kyle, I'm trying to build a baseline image for our Brigade getting ready to deploy to OND. I can't find netbanner.exe (and associated files) anywhere and need it. Mike, I should be located in Local Drive Most Likey C:\Program Files, then search for netbanner. you should find it. as of the configuration I am not able to find. Kyle, Pre win 7: Classification is set in the registry. Search for netbanner in the registry. Where I see it is at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Netbanner. 0=not configured, 1=unclassified, ...
