Microsoft Lifechat LX-3000 voice echoing in user's headset Windows 7 64-bit
I am using a new Microsoft headset (Microsoft Lifechat LX-3000). When I am speaking to someone I hear my own voice echoing back quite loudly in my headset. It is making it hard to carry on a conversation. I want to make this echoing stop. Can anyone help me please?

Hi, Please check the volume of the microphone. After that, you can perform a troubleshooting to detect the problem: The specific steps are below: 1. Type “Troubleshooting” to open Windows troubleshooting software. 2. Choose “Troubleshooting audio recording” and click “next” to do the troubleshooting. After the troubleshooting, you can follow the order to fix the problem. If the issue persists, you can refer to the following KB article: Adjust the volume for the microphone Hope it helps.
