Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse Center for Windows 8 with Microsoft Bluetooth / Notebook Mouse 5000 / Bluetooth Keyboard 6000 / Numberpad 5000
Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse Center for Windows 8 with Microsoft Bluetooth / Notebook Mouse 5000 / Bluetooth Keyboard 6000 / Numberpad 5000
The 'Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse Center for Windows 8' does not detect any of these devices and a check in my Device Manger shows a generic HID driver rather than the Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 drivers. Since the drivers are on separate layers
(the Bluetooth and the mouse) I switch the mouse manually to the MS Comfort Mouse 6000 but the 'Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse Center for Windows 8' still does not detect the mouse for I can (re)configure the forward/backward mouse button (the thumb buttons
on the mouse).
Any help?

Interesting, I have found that CM 6000 is supported in Windows 8 environment. However I could compare behavior in clean systm with chipset and other drivers installed just after vanilla plain install.

Thanks. I'll just use the default Windows 8 drivers installed when I install via Bluetooth. I'm not using that utility anymore. My Bios is up to date. I don't think they will do further updates because the graphics cards is not quite DX11 capable
and the screen resolution comes up just short so the machine (EP121) can never be a 'Windows 8' hardware machine.
