PLEASE HELP! Microsoft no longer supports Windows 2000 Professional and I have a "Microsoft JScript Runtime error: McCompat Check" is null or not an object. Was not handled. " error message upon trying to reinstall McAfee. McAfee claims this is a Microsoft issue and I am running w/o any virus or security program because they had me uninstall it before reinstallation regarding an earlier problem. I am unemployed and my computer is my lifeline right now. Can someone please help me fix this issue?My apologies for posting this in error in the XP forum.
