Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer 2.1
Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer 2.1 flagged Severe Errors for: 1. More than 2 Administrators were found on this computer. This is error in detection since two of the accounts are disabled. 2. User Accounts have non-expiring passwords. It is error in analysis since there is no password set for the disabled accounts. Is there a remedy for this in the Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer 2.1? I will not remove or enable the disabled accounts: Administrator and User. Those two build-in accounts are the biggest security thread on any computer since anyone knows this two use names. The second half is the password. Andrejmart

Hi Andrejmart, after checking the issue, it seems this is a general MBSA issue. As this forum focuses on Windows Vista specific issues, this inquiry would best be posted to MBSA newsgroup: http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.security.baseline_analyzer The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the newsgroups regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us. Thank you for your understanding.
