Hi, According the issue, I suggest that you may take the following steps to troubleshoot the problem: 1. Install all updates which related Windows Media Center. 2. You may try to turn off Gadgets and check the issue again. 3. Try turn off and re-turn on Windows Media Center: 1. Open Control Panel/Programs and Features. 2. Click "Turn Windows features on or off" in the left pane. 3. Expand "Media Features", uncheck "Windows Media Center". Click "Yes" to continue, and click OK to quit. Then Restart. Note: If you turn off Windows Media Center, you won't be able to do any of the following tasks. Watch, pause, and record live TV in Windows Media Center. You'll need to install another program to do this in Windows. Watch slide shows of your photos in Windows Media Center. Play videos or music in Windows Media Center. 4. Open "Turn Windows features on or off" again. Turn on the features "Windows Media Center". Restart. 4. Check dll file by following steps 1. Click Start button, click All Programs, click Accessories, then right-click Command Prompt, in the right click menu, please click Run as administrator. 2. Type the following commands, press Enter after each line. regsvr32 atl.dll cd C:\WINDOWS\eHome ehSched /unregServer ehSched /service ehRecvr /unregServer ehRecvr /service ehRec.exe /unregServer ehRec.exe /regserver ehmsas.exe /unregServer ehmsas.exe /regserver Hope that helps Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
