Did microsoft updates today and behold I now have a Message stating pc app store updated and wants me to set my browser search to web search. When you click on terms its says its from Bontio Inc.  Can anyone tell me if this is safe or whats going on?

If you share the same symptom with the link as S.Sengupta,we can take op` suggestion to click "OK" to update the apps safely.We could open the task manager to look for the related process and check the detailed information of this popup.

If it takes with another symptom,we can perform a full scan with the antivirus software to ensure the safety of the whole system.

I already rolled back my desktop to Windows 7, I am just about to do the same with my laptop (to Windows 8).  Will someone at Microsoft get a clue that I will stop using their products if they try to force this crap on me?  I don't need the app store, this thread proves it is garbage and I can't uninstall Pokki and this built in web browser hijacker.  I actually hate W10 more that W8, if that is even possible.

No, I don't want to do any of those things, I want Microsoft to fix it and stop forcing Pokki on Windows 10 users which is a program that acts like malware when it tries to trick me into switching my search engine to web search.  What in the world is going on here?  I don't like W10, it does not help me at all and it has turned into a gigantic waste of my time with Cortana and Live Tiles.  Each sucessive version of Windows is progressively dumbed-down to the lowest common denominator of computer user.

Uninstall Host App Service. This is a part of Pokki.  Do a Google search for Pokki Uninstall
