Merge Two Conference Calls

Hi,

We need to merge two conference calls.  I see I can drag attendees from one conference to another, but that is less than ideal because the conferencing system initiates a new call to the attendee from the destination conference.  I can't seem to just merge a person into the second conference call like I could if it was a 1 to 1 call.  Is there a way to do this without the attendee needing to take action?

Alternatively, is there a way to not send audio to a subset of conference call participants for a period of time?  The reason we need to conference calls is that we need to call a translator, then our research respondent, obtain consent, then merge into an existing conference where our clients are waiting.  The initial call with the translator/respondent must be kept private from the clients to ensure a properly blinded study.

Thanks.

You cant merge the conference.

When it comes to A/V conference, you cant join two conferences at the same time.

You can mute the participants if you dont want others send

Unfortunately, that's not going to work.  We need to be able to deafen certain participants for a period of time, not mute them, or we need to transparently move attendees from one conference to another.  It doesn't look like we have a workaround for this.
