I am trying to generate a hoffman htb tablebase. The error message is "Can't malloc 1580MB for tablebase entries: Cannot allocate memory." How can I increase the command line (cmd.exe) memory pool? My computer has 4 gigs of RAM, using Windows 7 x64. (using powershell leads to the same error)

Is the command you're running a 32 bit application, or 64? Is this a program you're writing, or one you have obtained from someone else? -Noel
