i dont know which antivirus security center i should disable, im leaning on the side of keeping avira because i ran a scan with mcafee and found nothing! then i ran a scan with avira and found 26 viruses! but i really wouldnt know which one is better so thanks in advance to someone who can give me a good reason on keeping one of them (i will mark the post as an answer)-MG

Now that's an offer! From my personal experience and from that was all independent AV testing instutes say, the recognition rate of Avira is way higher than that of McAfee. And it's free (the "personal" edition) and lightweighted.
