I am currently using Comodo Firewall and Shield Deluxe 2009 Anti-Virus software on Windows XP Home. My system information SIW and Belarc) tells me that I am running those along with McAfee Firewall and Anti-Virus as well. I have not used McAfee for 4 or 5 years, and used McAfee removal tool back then. I have done C drive and registry searches and came up with nothing. Turning off the windows firewall in the security center, yields a message that McAfee reports it is not running and I am not protected. Where is McAfee hiding??1 person got this answerI do too

Am I to understand that McAfee is not running, but the Security Center is locked in on McAfee? Does SIW or belarc get it's info from the Security Center?
