Windows 7 32 bit update I have the same problem after doing a windows update. Marvell 88e8056 yukon ethernet controller (2) both have gone missing. Can not get it back no matter what I try. Asus motherboard P6t deluxe v2 intel 975 extreme 1366 bios updated but no helpJourneyOne

Are the controllers enabled in the BIOS settings? (They can be disabled, if the P6T Deluxe V2 is like the V1.) If they are enabled, what is their statuus in Device Manager? If they show yellow excalamation marks, they may need to be uninstalled and re-installed. (Make sure to uninstall the drivers as well, or the corrupted ones may re-appear at restart.) Best of luck.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, both controllers are enabled in bios setup. They do not show on device manager, and if I try to setup new device: I get no network adapters found. When booted to express gate the small lunix program card asus puts on their boards it finds the one of the adapters and I am able to get on the net. As of now, I am using a wireless router and adapter, it's just slower but works. Figure I'll need to reinstall windows from scratch, but hate to do that. Never know what the results will be. thanks again, if you have any other ideas, please share.JourneyOne

Try this: Turn them off in the BIOS, reboot, and add new hardware (scan for changes). Ignore any results, we're just trying to flush out junk entries. Get back into BIOS, re-enable the controllers, reboot, and if the system sees them it will ask if you want to use the current drivers or find new ones. I'd suggest new ones since your old ones have apparently gone funky. If it doesn't see them on reboot, try the scan for new hardware again to see if it finds them, then if prompted, again, find "new" ones. Best I can think of at this time, best of luck. DAS

Have you tried to download the network adapter driver from ASUS website and install it?
