Mapping to a different domain
I have my own workgroup at home which consists of a WINXP, Vista and Server 2003 boxes. I also have a work laptop I log on to via my work corporate domain account. My original work laptop was a Windows XP and when at home,I could successfully map to all machines in my workgroup.I have recieved a new work laptop that is Windows 7 and I cannot map to my home boxes. When trying to map a drive in XP, you get the option to change the name of the account that you wish to connect with. However in Windows 7, it keeps trying to connect with my corporate account which of course has no permission on my home domain. It can see all my machines in my workgroup with their relevant icons. So my question is how do you map a drive to a machine that is on another domain with that appropiate domain account and not the one I am currently logged on as?
