Mapped drives have red bar for certain users only
This is the second Vista user that has had this problem. The shares are on SBS 2003. The mapped drives on the Vista machine have solid red usage bars (not red X's) and display usage as 15.0MB of 1.00GB. The user can browse and create folders on the drives, but cannot move files to the drives. They receive a "Not enough free space" error. If I disconnect the drives and map with different user credentials, the mapped drives perform normally. If I then disconnect and remap as the original user (not using the different user credentials option), the improper behavior resumes. The sloppy temporary workaround is a second domain account for the same user to be used via the different user credentials option.

Thanks Ji. You are correct. I have no idea how that became enabled. Thanks again.
