Mapped drive kept disappearing on Computer
Our network drives are mapped via a login script. However, sometimes when we go into the "Computer" or what used to be called "My Computer" and the mapped drive letter is not listed. However, if I go into Command prompt and type "net use" then it does show the mapped letter there. Any suggestion? It has happened to multiple computers. However, it occurred randomly though.

Hi, According to your description, I suggest to use launchapp.wsf in GPO. More detail you can refer: To configure launchapp.wsf to postpone the execution of a logon script http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc766208(WS.10).aspx Furthermore, you can try to map network driver manually to check if same issue occurs: 1. Open Computer by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Computer. 2. Click Map network drive. 3. In the Drive list, click a drive letter. You can choose any available letter. 4. In the Folder box, type the path of the folder or computer, or click Browse to find the folder or computer. To connect every time you log on to your computer, select the Reconnect at logon check box. 5. Click Finish. Hope it helps. I can't access the domain GPO since I'm not in charge of the DC. And no I have not tried manually since this happens randomly.
