Mapped drive inaccesible after disconnecting and reconnecting to network
I have a laptop user using Vista Business who will undock their laptop from time to time but remain logged into their system. After reconnecting to the network, their F: drive (Home Directory which connects to our primary file server) is not accessible. All other drive mappings function normally. The only difference between the F drive and the other mapped drives is the F drive also acts as the My Documents folder.Disconnecting the mapped drive and remapping it still continues to show inaccessible. The only way to correct the mapping is to completely log out and log back in. Anyone come across this or have a solution to reconnecting the mapping without having to relog?
