Mapped Network Folders
I recently mapped a couple of shared folders on my VISTA desktop machine to both my VISTA and my Windows 7 RC partitions on my laptop. Following this, I tried to create a new folder in Windows 7 Explorer - normally I would left click on the mapped drive in the left pane and right click in the right pane and select New...Folder. However, when I do this, I do not see the New option on the context menu. When I follow the same procedure in VISTA, I am able to create the new folder and file documents into it. Is this a change of some sort in Windows 7 (although I have no idea why such a change would be made) or is it a bug of some sort?Windows 7 beta dual booting with VISTA Home Premium 2 GB memory 160 HD Gateway Laptop HP Officejet 6310 All-in One inkjet printer Verizon FIOS Internet Connection
