Mapped Network Drive not showing in My Computer
Folks, Working in a corporate enivroment we have login scripts setup through Group Policy which run when users login to there pc's. They get three drives mapped, one for each site we have. The scripts run perfectly in XP but sometimes on our VISTA/Win7 pc's the first drive (h:) does not get mapped. If I go to map the H: through my computer via map network drive it shows up in the list of drives to select and I can do it that way. There is not other USB or externally drives that are cuaisng this issue. Can someone explain why this happens intermittmently?

This issue is related to UAC. Please refer the following KB article to resolve it. After you turn on User Account Control in Windows Vista, programs may be unable to access some network locations If you need to modify your startup script, please discuss in: The Official Scripting Guys Forum! Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
